I started out as a dress-maker and tailor, but became very interested in making my own surface decoration, the use of free machine embroidery, and later in creating wearable art.

Making corsets is something I enjoy, and I have specialised in creating the fabric for these garments using silk and cotton that has been printed by inkjet.

Recently I have been enjoying hand embroidery, particularly animal and bird portraits, as well as some more abstract pieces.
